Gracias por tu comentario, Carlos. La Iglesia mantiene su neutralidad política y no respalda candidaturas. Las instituciones educativas administradas por la Iglesia pueden ofrecer sus espacios para diversas actividades, pero esto no implica respaldo político alguno.

Quisiera aclarar que la universidad donde ocurrió el tiroteo fue Utah Valley University (UVU), la cual no es una universidad de la Iglesia, aunque se encuentra en una comunidad con fuerte presencia de miembros de la Iglesia.

La Iglesia enseña a sus miembros a actuar conforme a los principios del evangelio.
